Team Boot-Hene.

So, If you came to my site via the link on Cohene.com, I apologize for the redundancy of this post. Just ignore this one and take a look at the others, if you wish. For those who havn't seen cohene.com, here's the story. Mark had an idea inspired by photographer Richard Avedon, who asked his friend and fellow photographer,Lee Friedlander, if he could take his picture. Lee agreed, but only if Richard would agree to be photographed as well. (the original photo is seen on cohene.com) So with this idea in mind, we went to work. Enjoy!

Melanie Fordham

Melanie Fordham is a friend of mine who offered to be a model for my fashion photo shoot which I need for a lighting class assignment. I should also note that Melanie is a graduated (or soon to be) Photojournalism student from Loyalist College. She will be leaving Canada for Paris France where she will be a photo editor at the VU agency. She is also a pretty gifted photographer, as you can see here.
Thanks for stopping by!

Belleville Bulls

So I shot the Belleville Bulls last regular season home game last night here in Belleville and it was a pretty decent time. Compared to my first shoot at a hockey game (this being my second) I took way less photos, and I had more that I was happy with. Last night goalie Mike Murphy shut out the 38 shots the Peterborough Petes threw at him. This was Murphy's 5th shutout game of the season. I think its pretty incredible the flexibility this goalie, among others, has. So here are some shots of Murphy doin' what he does.
Keep it real.

And Another.

So this is another Ian and August shot which I took last week. I am currently working on a few things for school and for myself as well, which would be the news I casually referred to a few posts ago. With my lack of technological skills though, it seems my plans are hinderd slightly. The news is that I am working on a website (www.danielboot.com), so I can have a more "professional" air about me and my photography. I purchased the domain and hosting space, but I have no idea on how to make a website. So I'm asking for some help. If anyone who reads this knows how to build a decent website using windows, I am asking that they spread the knowledge:) Thanks a lot! Stay well.
