On my trip to Toronto, to see the World Press Photo exibit, I had some free time to wander Toronto. One interesting thing I've learned recently, is that by carrying around a professional looking camera, you pretty much have the right to approach anyone you want and ask them their life story, and they will tell it to you willingly. Its great. Thats how I met this man. A kind soul who has volunteered for the St Johns Ambulance in Toronto, for the past 40 years or so. Unfortionatly, my memory isnt the greatest and I dont remember all the things he told me. Another thing I've learned, carry a notepad!.
